Pete Nash, 61, of Vidor died Sunday, April 25, 2010 at his residence in Vidor. A native of Baltimore, MD, he was a longtime residence of Vidor. Pete was a project manager for Tubal Cain Ind. in Vidor. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #5789. He was Mayor Pro-Tem for Pine Forest and was involved in the Boy Scout as a troop leader. Petes true love was his music, playing it on his bass guitar and singing it, people say he had the voice of an Angel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and a Christian Vigil at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Pete was preceded in death by his two daughters Ashley Ann and Heather Michelle, mother Betty Nash, brother Aubrey Nash and sister Judy Elliott. He is survived by his wife Sharon Dickey Nash of Vidor, TX, sons Michael Nash of Vidor, TX, Joshua Nash and his wife Shonna of Camp Lejeune, NC, daughter Barbara Nash Brumley and her husband James of VIdor, TX, brothers Riley and Brian Nash both of Vidor, TX, sister Elizabeth "Liz" Weldon of Vidor, TX, and his 6 grand muffins Chase, Michael jr, Kelli, Micah, Blaklie, Laethin.
