Penny Louise Rees Hanson

Penny L. Hanson, 64, of Vidor died Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at her residence. A native Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, she has lived in Vidor since 1977, and was a bill collector with Radiology Associates in Beaumont. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 5, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home. Penny was preceded in death by her husband Arvin Hanson, and parents Ames and Mamie Rees. She is survived by her sons Tony Hanson of Lake Charles, Trent Hanson of Sulphur, LA., daughters Tricia Higgins, and Brandi Lavergne both of Vidor, brother Randy Rees of Breaux Bridge, LA., eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
