Pauline B. Bland, 88, of Vidor, TX died Saturday, May 13th, 2017 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont, TX. She was a lifelong resident of Vidor and a member of First United Methodist Church of Vidor. Pauline worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and retired from Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital. She liked to travel and paint but loved to spoil her "angel butts" (great grandchildren). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Vidor. Pauline is survived by her husband of 17 years; Homer R. Bland of Vidor, daughter; Regina Lewis and her husband Lou of Vidor, 2 step-sons; Alton Bengsch and his wife Maria of Laredo, TX and William Bengsch and his wife Selina of Kauffman, TX, 3 grandsons; Bryan Lewis and his wife Amanda of Vidor, Roger Lewis of Vidor, and Blaine Bengsch and his wife Chasity of Jerrel, TX and 1 granddaughter; Amber Zelenka and her husband Jeramie of Brenham, TX. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; Brittany, Alicia, Avery, Emily, Laramie, Landon, Landry, Caitlyn, Camyle, and Denisse, 1 niece; Jennifer R. Smith of Flat, TX and 1 nephew; John Ray Bucknum, Jr. of Lott, TX. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband; Alton Bengsch, 1 sister; Eloise Buchnum, and 1 brother; John Ray Bucknum, Sr.. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
