Tommy Goza, left us to be with our LORD on the morning of February 26, 2004 at his home, after a brief illness, with his loving family at his side. He was born on July 2, 1946 in Beaumont, Texas, and worked most of his years for Bethlehem Steel Company as dispatcher and crane operator, then followed construction work when the shipyard closed down. He was loved and cherished by his family and all who knew him. With his friendly smile and sense of humor, he never met a stranger, and if you knew him you became his friend instantly. He will be missed by all here and will be greeted in heaven by his heavenly father, and his dad from here, Ralph Goza, and a few other friends and relatives. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Monday March 1, 2004 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor, Texas, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. and a Christian vigil at 7:00 p.m. Sunday February 29, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
