Vidor

Paul Anthony Page, 51, of Vidor, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 9th, 2024, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home in Groves. Born in Silsbee, Paul spent much of his life in Vidor, where he became a familiar face and a trusted friend to many.

Paul had a natural talent for construction, an art he mastered with his hands and carried out with pride. He loved nothing more than staying busy, whether it was fixing a broken fence or helping a neighbor with a home project. He was a true handyman, someone who could take on any challenge and leave things better than he found them.

His hands told the story of a life spent working hard, but his heart revealed a man who was always ready with a smile or a laugh. Paul was the kind of person who never met a stranger. His friendly demeanor and willingness to lend a hand made him a cherished member of the Vidor community.

He is survived by his son, Anthony Kirkland of Vidor, who carries forward his father's legacy of hard work and dedication; his mother, Beverly Page of Vidor, who was his constant support; his brother, Frank Gennusa of Dayton, who shared countless memories of their younger days; and his beloved grandson, Aiden Kirkland of Vidor, who was the light of Paul's life and the one who brought him endless joy.

Paul’s presence will be deeply missed, but the love and skills he passed on to those around him will continue to build and repair the world, just as he did throughout his life.
