Patsy Jack Jacobs passed away Friday, May 20 after a courageous battle with cancer. She loved and knew Jesus as her Savior and was welcomed into Heaven after fighting the good fight, running the race, and keeping the faith.
Patsy was born on January 17, 1935 in Eustace, Texas to Jewel and Audis Everitt. She moved to Beaumont at age 7 and graduated from South Park High School in 1952. She attended one year of college at Lamar University. In 1953, Patsy started working at Gulf Supply, later known as Gulf Consolidated Services, until she retired in 1989. She then went to work at Taylor Medical Supply in 1990 until she retired in 1996. In 1998, she moved from South Park and became a resident of Vidor and a member at Pine Forest Baptist Church.
Patsy is preceded in her death by her mother and father. Patsy is survived by her son Michael David Shaw and wife Glenda, her granddaughter Jessica Danielle Marcantel and husband Justin, and her great grandsons Corbin Allan Marcantel and Jackson Everitt Marcantel.
Besides spending time with her family, Patsy loved to read, solve sudokus, dance and listen to Elvis Presley, watch her granddaughter dance, and be her grandsons’ biggest fan at their baseball games.

Her visitation will be Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Her funeral will be Monday, May 23, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor.
