Patricia Ann Harvey

Patricia Ann Harvey, treasured wife, beloved mother and adored grandmother passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at her residence. She was surrounded by her loving family in her final days. Pat is survived by her husband Charles Harvey of Vidor, son Chuck Harvey and his wife Debra of Austin, daughter Ginger Oulapour and her husband Abbas of Vidor, brothers Conrad Butts of Houston, and James Butts of Vidor, four grandchildren Ian Harvey and his wife Rebecca of Austin, Ashley Oulapour Nele and her husband Tony of Vidor, Dylan Harvey of Austin, and Alex Oulapour of Lake Charles, LA. The family would like to thank her very special friends Geraldine and Garland Richardson for 50 years of laughs, travels and friendship. Pat was a lifelong fan of the Vidor Pirates Football and Band. She was a tireless worker for the Vidor Band and Football Boosters. Pat enjoyed hundreds of concerts and plays at the Vidor High School Auditorium and years of games at Pirate Stadium. She was one of the pioneers who brought youth football to Vidor in 1967. Graveside services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 9, 2009 at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home.
