Pam "Pamma" Shivers

Pam "Pamma" Shivers, 71 of Vidor died Thursday, February 21st, 2019 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. Pam was a native of Many, Louisiana, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Pam was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Vidor and was an office manager for Dr. Phillips and Dr. Laughlin for 30 years. She enjoyed ceramics, gardening flowers, cooking and eating, but most of all she was an animal lover especially dogs. Pam was tied to and had done a great amount of funding to the animal rescue group Sweet Pups. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Friday, March 1, 2019 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with cremation to follow. Pam is survived by her sons Kenneth "Chip" Shivers and his wife Michelle of Danbury, Texas, Michael Shivers and his wife Molly of Humble, TX, in- laws Kurt Sellers and Becky Shivers Sellers of Vidor, TX, sister Penny Pearson of Amarillo, TX, numerous nephews and nieces and 13 grandchildren.
