Orland Lenard "Johny" Johnson

Johny Johnson, 92 of Mauriceville died Wednesday, March 7th, 2018 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont, Texas. A native of Center, Texas, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Johny was a member of West Orange Christian Church and served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He enjoyed gardening, reading, and raising chickens. Johny also enjoyed fixing electronics, he had his licensees for HAM operator and small aircraft pilot. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm and funeral services at 2:00 pm Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with burial to follow at R.S. Farmers Memorial Cemetery in Silsbee, TX. Johny is survived by his son Douglas Johnson and his wife Melanie of Winnie, TX, daughter Janice Waddell and her husband Troy of Mauriceville, TX, and 1 grandson Shane Waddell.
