Ora Leona Smith

Ora L. Smith, 82, of Gist, Texas, died Sunday, July 27, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Ora was a native of Orangfield, TX, she was a longtime resident of Gist. She was a homemaker and a member of Cherry Grove Baptist Church in Gist. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Eaves Cemetery in Gist. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home. Ora is survived by her son Danny Smith of Buna, TX, daughters Paulette Ratcliff of Buna, TX, Claudette Menard of Orange, TX, Rhonda Garsee of Buna, TX, brother Ben Wallace of Vidor, TX, Carroll Wallace of Kirbyville, TX, sister Shirley Manchu of Vidor, TX, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
