Norma L. Oldbury, 68, of Vidor died Monday, July 10, 2006 at her residence in Vidor. A native of Walker, LA, she lived in Vidor for 50 years. Norma had her LVN license for 40 years, but spent her time as a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 13, 2006 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home and from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. in the relief society room at the church. Norma is survived by her husband Otha E. “Blue” Oldbury of Vidor, TX, daughters: Rene Keen Shaw of Vidor, TX, Michele E. Oldbury, Barbara Ellen Tamayo, and Juliann Johns all of Vidor, TX, brothers: Richard Ellis Keen of Denham Springs, LA, Daniel B. Keen of Baton Rouge, LA, Wendell J. Keen of Denham Springs, LA, sister: Barbara Spencer of Magna, UT, 23 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
