Nina Faye Garrett

Faye Garrett, 91, of Vidor died Tuesday, March 7th, 2017 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Many, LA, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Faye loved giving and touching the lives of so many others. She also enjoyed doing so many of things like quilting, sewing, needle work, canning, gardening, yard work, flowers, painting and crocheting, but most of all I loved helping and loving some one else before myself. Love for all that has been a great part of my life mother, mama, mom, granny, nanny and nans. Faye is survived by her children Richard Garrett and wife Paula of Baton Rouge, LA, Susan Barlow of Orange, TX, Michael Garrett of Vidor, TX, , grandchildren Scott, Rashell, Freddy and Sarah, great grandchildren Blake, Breyn, Braxton, Ally and Emily and lots of good friends, more like family to me. They are all loved and dear to my heart. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, March 10, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home.
