Nestor Galaviz

Nestor Galaviz, 85, of Vidor, TX died Sunday, March 15th, 2020 at his residence. A native of Beaumont, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Nestor served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked as a process operator for DuPont for 31 years before his retirement. Nestor enjoyed hunting, photography, and traveling but he especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 18, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Nestor is survived by his loving wife of 63 years; Lucy Galaviz, 3 daughters; Pam Day of Vidor, Cyndi Proctor and her husband Barry of Willow Park, TX, and Christy Seals and her husband Darryl of Vidor, 3 sisters; Gloria Motte, Odelia Muruato, and Antonia Radziewicz, loving niece; Victoria Bravo along with 4 special family members; Monica Beaumont, Karma Working, Bentley Working and Ryder Working. Nestor was preceded in death by 3 sisters; Pauline Laredo, Angelina Dickens, and Catalina Fountain and 2 brothers; Gertrudis Galaviz and Victor Galaviz, Sr.
