Nelson Jude Daigle

Nelson Jude Daigle, 65 of Vidor died Saturday, August 24th, 2019 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumoint, TX. A native Port Arthur, TX, he was a longtime Vidor resident. Nelson was a Christian and believed in his Heavenly Father and spoke about his Heavenly Father often. The family said he was the family clown and entertained the family starting at a young age. Nelson enjoyed hunting, fishing, movies and he really loved music. His absence is going to be truly missed by his family. Nelson served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m and a rosary will begin at 7:00 pm Monday, August 26, 2019 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Nelson is survived by his daughter Kristen Daigle of Nederland, TX, granddaughters Zoe and Alexis, mother of his daughter and very dear family friend Diane Daigle of Beaumont, TX, siblings Judy Brucia of Vidor, TX, Roy Daigle of Vidor, TX, Bobby Daigle of ID, Abby Daigle of Vidor, TX, Gerald Daigle of Vidor, TX, Donald Daigle of Vidor, TX, Anna Townsend of CO, Kathy Jarnigan of Vidor, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.
