Nelson E. Reeves, 51, of Vidor died Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at Veterans Hospital in Hospital in Houston, TX. A native of Beaumont, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor and was a retired pipefitter with Local # 195 after years of faithful service. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. He is survived by his wife of 13 years JoAnn Reeves of Vidor, sons Chad Arlon Reeves of Independence, MO., and Robert Stoute of Houston, TX., daughter Stephanie Renee Reeves of Kansas City, MO., mother Betty Reeves of LaBelle, TX., brother Tommy Joe Reeves of Nacogdoches, TX., sisters Beverly Burrell of LaBelle, TX., and Geneva Humberson of Vidor, TX., and three grandchildren.
