Nellie Vada Christian

Nellie V. Christian, 77, of Zavalla, TX., died Monday September 8, 2003 at Park Place Hospital in Port Arthur, TX. A native of Woodville, TX., she was a former residence of Vidor before moving to Zavalla, TX., were she lived for the past 20 years. Nellie was a retired sales clerk and a member of First Baptist Church of Zavalla. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Friday September 12, 2003 at First Baptist Church of Zavalla, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at 4:00 p.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor., visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Thursday September 11, 2003 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Nellie was preceded in death by her son: Michael Christian in 1982. She is survived by her husband Harry Christian of Zavalla, TX., daughters: Gwen McDonald of Nederland, TX., Sharon Yeriazarian of Seattle, WA., sister: Elouise Jefferson of Vidor, TX., 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
