Moses 'Mc" Curren Taylor

MC Taylor, 86 of Vidor died Saturday, June 29th, 2019 at his residence. A native and longtime resident of Carthage, Texas, he has lived in the Golden Triangle for the past 10 years. MC was a member of First United Methodist Church in Vidor and retired from the Texas Highway Department after 25 years as a Surveyor. MC enjoyed gardening and being on his tractor, but he was best known for his gentleness, love and generosity. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm and funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, July 1, 2019 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Entombment will be held at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, TX. MC was preceded in death by his parents Belo and Norene Taylor, wife Joan Taylor, son Mark Taylor and brother Robert Taylor. He is survived by his son Tim Taylor and his wife Cathy of Decatur, AL, daughters Katrina Brumley and her husband Bill of Vidor, TX, Tonya Allen and her husband Mitch of Colmesneil, TX, daughter-in-law Libbie Taylor of Cypress, TX, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren. The family would like to send a special thank you to caregiver Brandi McElroy of Orange, TX. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.i
