Morris Gary "Mg" Jacks, Jr

Morris Gary "MG" Jacks Jr., 63, of Vidor, TX died Wednesday, August 1st, 2018 at home. A native of Beaumont, TX he was a longtime resident of Vidor who worked for many years as a machinist and was also an inventor. MG also served in the U.S. Navy Air during the Viet Nam war. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, making gears and reading his Bible. Visitation will be Saturday, August 4, 2018 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Williamson Cemetery. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Marilyn Jacks of Vidor, 1 daughter; Madeline Kelley and her husband Matt of Vidor, 2 sons; Morris Jacks III "Fellar" and his girlfriend Tonya Collier of Vidor and Micah Jacks and his wife Breanna also of Vidor, 6 grandchildren; Mandalyn, Macelyn, Makailyn, Marverick, Thomas, and Maddison. He is also survived by 4 sisters; Bonnie Gray, Maxine Pierce, Joy Lewis and Sarah Potter, and 2 brothers; Stephen Jacks and John Jacks. MG was preceded in death by his parents; Morris and Dorris Jacks and 1 brother; David Jacks.
