Morrell Julus Davis

Morrell J. Davis, 94, of Rockwall, NC., died Monday, March 23, 2009 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, NC. A native of Pineland, TX., he has lived in Rockwall for 9 years, and was a retired heavy equipment operator with P C Fiffer. He served his country in the United States Army, and was a member of the Disabled Veterans Association. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. He is survived by his son Calvin E. Davis of Rockwall, NC., five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
