Molly Doris 'Dot' Crawford Barras

Molly 'Dot' Barras, 65, of Vidor died Monday, May 13, 2013 at her resident. A native of Silsbee, she has lived in Vidor since 1979, and was a cook with Changing Seasons Nursing Home in Vidor. Molly was a member of New Cherry Grove Baptist Church in Gist, TX. Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home. Molly was preceded in death by her grandson Douglas Wayne Crawford, parents Berger and Willie Wright, sister Sue Hofferek, and father of her children Douglas Crawford. Molly is survived by her husband William Barras of Dayton, daughters Kimberly Samuels and husband Alvin, Leslie Moore and husband Marshall Keith all of Vidor, son Wayne Douglas Crawford and wife Nina of Vidor, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and numerous close family and friends. The family would like to give a big thank you to the Odyssey Hospice nurses and staff.
