Mildred Raye Gilbreath

Mildred R. Gilbreath 77 of Orangefield died Monday, June 25th, 2018 at her residence. A native of Kirbyville, TX, she was a longtime resident of Orangefield. Mildred was a charter member of Pecan Acres Baptist Church and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star chapter#914 in Vidor. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Nile and fund raised a lot for the Shriners Hospital for Children in Galveston. But she enjoyed being with her family more than anything else. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Pecan Acres Baptist Church in Vidor with burial to follow at Stephenson Cemetery in Vidor. Mildred is preceded in death by her parents A.J. and Tommie Stephenson and sister Yvonne DeRamus. She is survived by her children Sandra Flores and her husband Rafael of Kirbyville, TX, Stephen Gilbreath and his wife Zanette of Orangefield, TX, Suzan Steed and her husband Dan of Orangefield, TX, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
