Mildred Fayrene Rickman

Fay Rickman, 81, of Vidor died Monday, April 29, 2013 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. A native of Wilmot, AR., she was a longtime resident of Beaumont, before moving to Vidor in 1995. Fay, after being a full-time wife and mother while raising her four children; went to work for her daughter, Karey in her Tax Office. She retired from there in 2007. Fay was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary Post 4759 in Starks, LA., and a member of The Anchor of Beaumont in Beaumont, TX. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at The Anchor of Beaumont under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Starks Community Cemetery in Starks, LA. Visitation will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2013 at The Anchor of Beaumont. Fay was preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Elvira Pollock, her loving husband, Joe Rickman, and her grandson, Asa Davis. Fay is survived by her sons, Marion Rickman and wife Shawn of Beaumont, and Anthony Rickman of Hamburg, AR; daughters, Sheila Rickman of Vidor, and Karey Davis-Ashcraft and husband Wayne of Camden, AR., brothers, Troy Pollock of Anacoco, LA., and Earl Pollock of Hamburg, AR., grandchildren: Danielle and her husband Cye Stone, Flint and his wife, Yolanda Davis, Weston and his wife Kimmy Davis, Pete Rickman, and Aaron Rickman, and thirteen great grandchildren.
