Mildred Carlene Brock

Mildred C. Brock, 80, of Vidor died Monday, February 25, 2008 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor, TX. A native of Philadelphia, MS., she has lived in Vidor since 1979, and was a retired secretary with Smith Hayes Optical. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at the funeral home. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Brock, her parents James and Martha Johnson, and two brothers Orance and Basil Johnson. She is survived by her daughters Sheryl Lowe of Vidor, and Phyllis Allison of Terrell, TX., son Cliff Brock of Key West, FL., two grandchildren: Stephen Lowe and Brian Lowe, one great grandchild Alex Lowe, and a very special friend Linda Rubio.
