Mike Clifton

Mike Clifton, 58, of Sour Lake, TX died Friday, June 19th, 2020 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Lake Charles, LA he was a longtime resident of Sour Lake. Mike was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing and competition BBQ cooking but he especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Mike is survived by his loving wife of 13 years; Lynida Clifton, 2 daughters; Kandace Boothe and her husband Nate of Sulphur, LA and Hannah Reaux of Sour Lake, 2 sons; Kody Clifton and his wife Kristen of Vidor, TX and Kade Clifton of Sour Lake, 6 grandchildren; Kaselyn and Kamryn Clifton, Payton, Taylon, Xaydon and Rayvon, and his mother; Margie Clifton of Dodson, LA. Mike was preceded in death by his father; Fred "Duke" Clifton. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
