Michael Pues

Michael Eugene Pues 64 of Arlington, TX, passed away December 12, 2019 at Community of Texas James L. West facility in Fort Worth. Michael was a craftsman and specialized in masonry for over 40 years. He loved life and had a keen sense of humor, know for his quick-wit, playfulness, pranks. His gregarious personality always kept a circle of friend around, he was the life of the party. He played receiver for Vidor High School football team, All-district-year 1972, received a full scholarship to Sam Houston. Was also devoted to the Green Bay Packers, he had a positive outlook on life and lived it to the fullest. Will be missed by his family, friends, and his dog/companion Wally Cleaver. Michael is survived by his sister Sandra Garza and husband Ernest of San Antonio, TX; Brother Manual Pues and wife Tammy of Houston, TX; Sister Jo Ellen Garrett and husband Donny of Vidor, TX; Sister Jennifer Williams of Arlington, TX; Aunt Gloria Peveto, husband Ed of Silsbee, TX; Aunt MaeDell Cavanaugh of Vidor, TX . Nineteen nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Harold and Rachel Pues, sister Polly Marsh, brother Randall Pues, and great nephew Maddox Leith. A memorial service will be held at 5:00pm Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, 1750 Hwy 12, Vidor.
