Michael "Mike" James Barnes Sr.

Mike J. Barnes, 66 of Vidor died Monday, August 24th, 2020 at his residence. A native of Beaumont, TX, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Mike was an auto mechanic with Gun Streams Tire and Lube in Vidor. He enjoyed fishing, race car building, hot rods and drag racing. Mike was an avid NASCAR fan. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Del-Rose Cemetery in Vidor. Mike is survived by his sons Michael " Mikey" James Barnes Sr. of Lockhart, TX, Tracey Barnes and his wife Stephanie of Vidor, TX, brother Joseph "Joe" Barnes of Mauriceville, TX and Larry Barnes of Vidor, TX, 1 grandson.
