Melvon Karl Stephenson Jr., 53, of Vidor died on Wednesday, November 30th, 2016 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital. Born in Beaumont Melvon was a longtime resident of Vidor who was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He was the owner/operator of Western Aero in Woodville, TX. where they did aircraft repair and modification. He has two BS degrees from Texas State Technical College. He was a certified airline pilot, avid gun lover, licensed class 7 gunsmith and gun dealer, amateur military war historian, and his hobby was electronics. Visitation will be held Friday, December 2nd, 2016 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 3rd, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with an interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Melvon was survived by his sons Trey Stephenson of Waco, TX and Matthew Stephenson of San Marcus, TX, daughter Abbi Stephenson of Houston, TX, mother and step father Latrelle and Ben Foreman of Newton, TX, father and step mother Karl and Bonnie Stephenson of Vidor, TX, sister Karie Stephenson of Montreal, Canada, brothers Shane Foreman of Waco, TX, Kory Stephenson of Vidor, TX, and Kyle Stephenson of Humble, TX.
