Melvin Ike Isaac Young

Melvin "Ike" Young, 55, of Vidor died Saturday, September 5, 2009 at his residence in Vidor. Ike was born September 1, 1954 in Lake Charles, LA to Joseph and Marion Young. Ike was a Marine Surveyor for Gulf Coast Surveyors. He was a longtime Vidor resident. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Prien Memorial Park in Lake Charles, LA at 12:00 noon. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. Ike is survived by his sons Shane Young of Austin, TX, James Young of Beaumont, TX, daughter Heather Grones of Scottsdale, AZ, brother Don Young of Houston, TX sister Jackie Fuselier of Fort Davis, TX, and 2 grandchildren.
