Melba J. Barnard

Melba Barnard, 77, of LaBelle died Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, TX, she was a longtime resident of LaBelle. Melba was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Fannett. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 31, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home. Melba was preceded in death by her husband Julius Marion J.M. Barnard, and son Julius Marion Jay Barnard, Jr.. She is survived by her sons Rick Barnard and his wife Kaye of Port Neches, TX, Kenneth Barnard and his wife Judy of LaBelle, TX, daughter Pamela Barnes of Vidor, TX, brother-in-law Bill Barnard and his wife Jo Nan of Beaumont, TX, sister-in-law Hazel Lynn White of Vidor, TX, 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
