Melba "Bug" Braneff

Melba "Bug" Braneff, 88, of Huntsville, TX died Wednesday, January 1st, 2020 at Huntsville Memorial Hospital. A native of Camden, TX and former resident of Vidor she enjoyed playing bingo, cards, and dominoes with her friends. Bug was a former member and President of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion in Livingston, TX. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, January 5, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with funeral services at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Bug is survived by 2 daughters; Lou Ellen Barnard and her husband Joe of Huntsville, and Sandy Jones and her husband Bryan also of Huntsville, 1 son; Michael Coy Braneff and his wife Tina of Warren, TX, 6 grandchildren; Randy, Keith Breanna, Michael, Kallaugha and Christopher, and 9 great grandchildren; Brandy, Emma, Grace, Luke, Claire, Michael Jr, Laylah, Eliana and Arabella. She is also survived by 1 sister; Linda Herrington of Huntsville along with numerous nieces, nephews and step family. Bug was preceded in death by her husband; Thomas T. Braneff, 1 son; Tommy Braneff, 1 great grandson; Bentley Braneff and 6 brothers.
