Maybelle entered this world on January 10, 1934 and was called home on February 11, 2009. Maybelle was preceded in death by her loving husband Royce E. Brannen and parents Willis and Laura Clark of Starks, Louisiana. Maybelle was a long time resident of Vidor, Texas and was a retiree from Sears Roebuck & Company. Maybelle attended the church of the Lord Jesus Christ where she loved to worship and live for God. Maybelle loved to travel, and along with Royce enjoyed collecting antiques. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Clark Cemetery in Starks, Louisiana. Visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. Maybelle leaves to cherish her memory, two sisters, Mary Adams of Lumberton, Delois Fountain of Starks, Louisiana, and three brothers, Lesester (Lee) Clark, of Savannah Georgia, Lavelle Clark of Vidor, Texas and Sylvester (Buddy) Clark of Dequincy, Louisiana. Maybelle was the proud mother of three children ,two boys Harlan Dale and Connie Stewart of Vidor, Texas and Harvey and Mary Lou Stewart of Houston, Texas and one daughter Laura Lee Jacks of Vidor, Texas. But above all, Maybelle leaves behind her most cherished belongings her grandchildren & great-grandchildren: James Vincent Jr. and wife Sadie Vincent of Vidor, Texas, Lyzz and Doug Stanton of Vidor, Texas, Brian Duggan of Lumberton, Texas, Kimberley Stewart of Port Neches, Texas and Kayla, Kristian, Kamron Vincent, Devvon Creel and Jewelianna McWilliams.
