Mattie Lee Emfinger

Mattie Lee Emfinger, 93, of Vidor died Monday, August 5th, 2019 at her residence. A native of Picayune, Mississippi, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Mattie was an active member of First Baptist Church of Vidor and served on many committees. She was a homemaker, but she enjoyed the beach and loved fishing. She was a great seamstress also. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, August 8, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Vidor with entombment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Mattie is survived by her husband of 75 years Albert Harold Emfinger Sr. of Vidor, TX, children Mattie Lou Robertson of Vidor, TX, Allene Skiles of Vidor, TX, Albert Harold Emfinger Jr of Tiboli, TX, Betty Perkins of Port Neches, TX, Judy Mathieu of Cypress, TX, sister Bobbie McCarty of Monroe, LA, 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
