Matthew Louis Zambardino

Matt Zambardino, 67 of Vidor earned his angel wings and went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 10th, 2017 at his residence. A native of Beaumont, Texas, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Matt was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor and was retired from Bethlehem Steel in Beaumont. he served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam conflict. Matt"s favorite pass time was watching his Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed fishing. He was a gifted carpenter, enjoyed gardening and loved all animals especially his schnauzers. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A mass will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with cremation to follow. Matt was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Annette Zambardino, brother Mark Zambardino and 2 of his schnauzers Holly and Meagan. He is survived by his wife of 26 years Pam Zambardino of Vidor, TX, son Lee Matthew Zambardino of Beaumont, TX, daughter Anna Rene' Zambardino of Beaumont, TX, brothers Michael Zambardino and wife Diane of Beaumont, TX, Joe D. Zambardino of Corpus Christi, TX, Damian Zambardino of Vidor, TX, Stephen Zambardino and wife Paula of Vidor, TX, sisters Anna Greer and husband Al of Vidor, TX, Catherine Kelley and husband Robert of Vidor, TX, Ann Herman of Dallas, TX, many nieces and nephews, and his loving dogs Lily, Vinny and Molly.
