Matthew Brown, 20, of Mauriceville died Sunday, August 10, 2008 in Lake Charles, LA. Matthew was a native of Port Arthur, TX, he was a lifelong resident of Mauriceville. Matthew was a scaffold builder for Brand Scaffold Builders, Inc. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home. Matthew is survived by his father Marvin L. Brown of Mauriceville, and mother Florence Hancock of Las Vegas, NV., brothers Mark Brown and Michael Brown and sister Megan Brown all of Mauriceville.
