Mary Rella Durham

Mary Rella Durham, 64, passed away Monday, September 26th, 2016 at her home. She was a 1970 graduate of Vidor High School and was a longtime resident of Bridge City, Texas. Mary loved to go on vacations and travel in her RV, go fishing, and attending Friday night lights in Bridge City. She also loved to spread the word of Jesus and help people in need. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 28, 2016 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment at 1:00 p.m. at Bethany Cemetery in Colmesneil, Texas. Mary is survived by her husband, Timothy Lakey of 13 years, 2 daughters, Pamela Wagner and Cryste Horner both of Bridge City, 1 son, Tony Lakey of Vidor, 8 grandchildren, Shelby Lawrence, David Lakey, Dylan Rogers, Justin Lakey, Elissa Horner, Shaylee Lin, Star Maldonado and Madison Saenz and 1 great grandson, Elijah Grimes. She is also survived by 4 brothers, Gerald Durham, William Durham, Allen Ray Durham and his wife Susan, and Donnie Durham and his wife Regina, and 1 sister, Lori Durham-Saenz and her husband Michael of Houston. Mary was like a grandmother to all her nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Dorothy Durham, and a sister, Ida May Knight, and son, Troy Lakey.
