Mary Grandma Torbert

Mary “Grandma” Torbert, 92, went to be with the Lord Friday, November 3, 2006, she was at Dubuis Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Port Arthur, TX, she resided in Vidor since 1990. Grandma was a meat wrapper for Wiengarten Grocery Store for 27 years. She was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2006 at Faith Assembly of God Church, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, November 5, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home. Grandma was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Ralph Torbert, daughters Carolyn Torbert and Margaret Louise Munoz, great-grandson Braelin Ellis Torbert. She is survived by her son-in-law Salvador Munoz of Vidor, TX, grandchildren Benny Torbert, Troy McLeod, Tonya Englemann all of Vidor, TX, Michelle Childs of Carlyss, LA, great-grandchildren Tiffany, Tyler, Brooke, Benjamin, and Cade.
