Mary was born in Chester, Texas to proud parents; Troy & Blanche Loving, but lived in Orange, Texas majority of her life. She was a sibling to 4 sisters and 1 brother. Growing up, Mary always helped her Pawpaw Priest pick his oversized garden and help take it to town to sell. Mary and her siblings always enjoyed doing that because as a reward, he would buy them sugar candy. However, her most favorite past time memory is sitting under a shaded tree with her sisters and eating watermelon, while listening to her Pawpaw Priest share bible stories. Mary attended high school at Vidor High School, where she met the man she would marry, Lester Freeman. They were the epitome of high school sweethearts; they were inseparable and loved each other deeply. They married on January 1, 1954 before Lester had to leave for the Navy. Though they had to endure that time apart that just made their love for each other even stronger. Upon his arrival back home, they started to have children of their own. A daughter came first, who they named Wanda, and three years later, a son named Benny. They began teaching Sunday School at First Baptist Church in Mauriceville, TX. She loved teaching children about the Lord has always credited her Pawpaw Priest for her passion for teaching and her love for the Lord. Lester and Mary were married for an amazing 64 years; they lived to uphold the true meaning of love and marriage and have been inspiring role models for others to look up to. Mary was one who genuinely loved life; she enjoyed cooking, being surrounded by her family and attending church every Sunday. Mary is proceeded in death by her parents, Troy & Blanche Loving, her sisters Margaret Cornell and Billie Harper, and her grandson, Darrell Killen. Surviving family includes, her loving husband, Lester Freeman. Her siblings; Willie Pitman and her husband, JD; Della Hemmingway and her husband, Barry; James Loving and his wife, Linda. Her children; Wanda Seago and her husband, Delvin of Mauriceville, Texas; Benny Freeman and his wife, Rhonda of Buna, Texas. She leaves behind her five grandchildren: Dustan Seago and his wife, Angie of Hudson Oaks, Texas; Derek Seago and his wife, Carol of Orange, Texas; Whitney Freeman of Vidor, Texas; Trevor Freeman and his wife, Hollie of Orange, Texas; and Abigail Freeman of Buna, Texas. Her six beloved great grandchildren; Maddie, Noah and Sam Seago of Hudson Oaks, Texas; Hallie and Crew Freeman of Orange, Texas; and Jameson Seago of Orange, Texas. Last, but certainly not least, she leaves behind a large group of other friends and loved ones met thru her family and her beloved church family from First Baptist Church of Mauriceville, Texas.
