Mary Ella Dennis

Mary Ella Dennis, 95, of Vidor died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Vidor Health and Rehab Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Hope, AR., she has lived in Vidor since 1954 and was a retired secretary after 25 years of faithful service with the Vidor Independent School District. Mary Ella was a Charter Member of Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home. Mary Ella was preceded in death by her parents George and Ruth DeLoach, brothers Floyd, Clyde, T.Y. and Darwin DeLoach, sisters Bessie Taylor, Lois Clemmons and Tiny Brim and her great granddaughter Makayla Hebert. Mary Ella is survived by her daughter Sandra Rhodes and husband Larry of Vidor, son Gilbert Dennis, Jr and wife Jacie of Kountze, sister Ruby Cooper of Chandler, AZ., and brother Rodney DeLoach of Tyler, TX., nine grandchildren: grandsons: Tim Rhodes and Grady Dennis, granddaughters: Sherrie O'Flaherty, Katina Hebert, Renee Kash, Laurie Wood, Amy Sosa, Jennifer Pickard, and Sarah Lyle, nineteen great grandchildren: Courtney Rhodes, Justin Rhodes, Joshua Rhodes, Emily Rhodes, Jacob Rhodes, Trey Stephenson, Matthew Stephenson, Caitlin O'Flaherty, Samantha O'Flaherty, Luke Hebert, Olivia Hebert, Allison Kash, Rachel Kash, Anna Ruth Kash, Avery Wood, Ian Wood, Tobin Wood, Kyle Pickard and Parker Ella Lyle. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations maybe made to Pine Forest Baptist Church, 4800 N. Main St., Vidor, Texas 77662. .
