Mary Draper, 88, of Vidor, went home to be with the Lord on January 25, 2009 in Rowlett, Texas. Mrs. Draper was born September 7, 1920 in Beaumont, Texas to Oscar and Pearl Cash. Mary was a Sunday School teacher and other leadership positions in Memorial, Maplecrest and Northwest Baptist Churches in Vidor, Texas; Key Club; PTA Vidor Public Schools; Pilot Club; Vidor Garden Club; Eastern Star; Band Boosters; Hospital volunteer with the Grey Ladies. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at First Baptist Church in Vidor with, Internment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. The family will receive guests on Wednesday, January 28, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Memorial Funeral Home in Vidor, Texas. Mary is survived by her sons: Dr. Albert & wife Linda Draper; Chester (Pud) & wife Barbara Draper; daughter: Mary & husband Tommy Williams; grandchildren: Lori Reuthinger; Dr. Derek Draper; Deidre Franklin; Guy Draper; Carl Williams; Mark Williams; and Craig Williams; 17 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-great grandchild; sisters: Eloise Wilkerson and Eva Gallier.\r\n
