Mary Elizabeth Bright

Mary E. Bright, 95, of Vidor died Thursday, August 16, 2007 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Mansfield, LA., she has lived in Vidor for 50 years, and was a homemaker. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 19, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with her grandsons serving as her pallbearers, and burial will follow at Del Rose Cemetery in Vidor, TX. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at the funeral home. Mary was preceded in death by her brothers Hillary Cossman, Frank Cossman, and August Cossman, sisters Mable Johnson, and Florence Stewart. She is survived by her sons Huey Hampton of Vidor, Bill Bright of Greenville, TN., James Bright of Vidor, and Joe Bright of Miami FL., daughters Pearly Wilcox of Vidor, and Jo Ann Johnson of Hemphill, TX., thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
