Mary Eleanor Steward

Mary E. Steward, 78, of Vidor died Friday, June 2nd, 2017 at Altus Gardens Hospice Facility in Beaumont, Texas. A native of Beaumont, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor and Beaumont. Mary was a longtime member of Eastgate United Pentecostal Church in Vidor. She enjoyed spending time with her family on vacation and at the lake, but she enjoyed watching her grandsons play little league baseball the most. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am Monday, June 5, 2017 at Eastgate United Pentecostal Church with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Mary was preceded in death by her son Fred Steward Jr.. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Fred Steward Sr. of Vidor, TX, daughters Cindy Venter and husband Jannie of Hamshire, TX, Carol Steward of Vidor, TX, Melissa Tappe and husband Robin of Vidor, TX, 4 grandchildren Joshua Skillman, Zackary Skillman, Braden Tappe and Camden Tappe.
