Mary Cornelia Hitchcock

Mary Cornelia Hitchcock, "Aunt Nootsie", 89, of Vidor, TX died Thursday, April 12th, 2018 in Beaumont, TX. A native of Philadelphia, MS she was a longtime resident of Vidor who liked sewing, working in her yard, and cooking for her grandchildren but she especially loved to spend quality time with her family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Mary is survived by 1 daughter; Patricia Taylor of Vidor, 1 son; Red Hitchcock, also of Vidor, 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, 1 brother; James Jeffcoats and his wife Jackie of Mauriceville, TX along with numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her husband; Monroe Hitchcock, 1 son; Mitch Hitchcock, and 1 grandson; Roy Lynn Taylor.
