Mary Alice Walker

Mary Alice Walker, 82, of Vidor died Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Eddy, TX., she was a longtime resident of Vidor and was a homemaker. She was a member of The First United Methodist Church of Vidor. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 11, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Del Rose Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her parents Burnie and Ammie Watson, brothers Burnie Watson, Jack Watson, and Billy Watson, sisters Martha Day, Cora N. Murphy, Margaret Roming, and Josephine Miracle, and one grandchild Mike Hyatt. She is survived by her sons Terry Walker and his wife Linda of Vidor, Timothy Walker and his wife Karen of Mauriceville, and Sam Walker and his wife Rayma of Vidor, 6 grandchildren: Mike Walker, Madeline Walker, Pati Cure, John Cure, Samantha Morris, and Charly Hyatt, and seven great grandchildren.
