Marquis Amari Johnson

Marquis Amari Johnson, 16, of Beaumont, passed away on Tuesday, January 7th, 2025, at his home. Though a resident of Beaumont, Marquis was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX, where he cultivated his love for life and those around him.

Marquis was an avid gamer who enjoyed spending hours connecting with his friends through his favorite games. He also loved fishing and being outdoors, where he found peace and joy. With a big heart and a caring nature, Marquis was always putting others before himself, whether through small acts of kindness or by simply being there to lift someone's spirits. He had a knack for teasing and playing pranks, bringing laughter and smiles wherever he went. His humor and light-heartedness will forever be remembered by those who loved him.

Marquis is survived by his loving mother, Janie Chambers of Beaumont, TX, and his siblings, Aydin Osborne, Kimani Johnson, and Chahinez Osborne.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Texas Children's Hospital, HCT Hospice, and Heartbeats of Hope for their constant support and care during Marquis’s journey.
