Marilee Wallace

Marilee Wallace, 55, of Vidor, TX died Saturday, May 11th, 2019 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas. A native of Beaumont she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Marilee earned her Masters Degree in Library Science from Sam Houston State University and was a teacher and a librarian and loved playing with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading, renovating homes and cooking in her spare time. Marilee is survived by her loving husband; Bruce Wallace of 13 years, son; Jay Zoch of Vidor, daughter; Julie Kopshy and her husband Joseph of Waxahachie, TX, 2 grandchildren; Joshua and Jentry Kopshy and 2 sisters; Sandy Reynolds of Vidor and Patty McKinley and her husband David also of Vidor. Marilee was preceded in death by her parents; Robert and Helen Smith and a sister; Brenda Smith. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
