Marie O. Abshire

Marie O. Abshire, 80, of Buna, TX died Wednesday, July 18th, 2018 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Monroe City, TX she was a longtime resident of Buna. Marie enjoyed fishing, camping and cooking. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved her two dogs; Sugar and Penny. A memorial service will be Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Marie is survived by 2 sons; Craig Abshire and his wife Susan of Buna and Terry Abshire and his wife Terri also of Buna, 5 grandchildren; Cara Brinkerhoff and her husband Michael of Buna, Kaleigh Abshire of Beaumont, Krystal Weiss and her husband James of Houston, TX, Savanah Robbins of Buna, and Adrian Robbins and his wife Arissa of Nederland, TX, and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; Nathan Abshire, 4 sisters and 1 brother. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at 5758 Hwy 62, Buna, TX 77612. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
