Marie Joyce Miller

Joyce Miller, 75, of Vidor died Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. A native of Abbyville, Louisiana, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Joyce was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor. Joyce was a member of the Altar Society and participated in St. Joseph Altar. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm and a Christian Vigil at 7:00pm Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Alcee and Talita Bourque, brother Farres Bourque, sister Mayola Rocca and grandson Coby Miller. She is survived by her husband William D. Miller, sons LJ Miller and his wife Paula Jo of Vidor, TX, Robert Miller and his wife Ramona of Winnie, TX, Eddie Miller and his wife Kim, and Clifford Miller, daughter Eljean Beier and her husband Tony all of Vidor, TX, brothers Elvan Bourque of Woodville, TX, Lercy Bourque of Ladson, SC, sister Lula LaPoint of Gainsville, TX, Jeanette Leger of Arlington, TX, Clara Davis of Baytown, TX, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
