Maribelle Frances Hopper

Maribelle Hopper, 78, of Vidor died Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Beaumont, she has lived in Vidor since 1960 and was a retired secretary and bookkeeper with Dr. Graham Scuddy, and a member of the Azalea Garden Club. Funeral services will be heldat 10:00 a.m.on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. Maribelle is survived by her husband James T. Hopper, Sr of Vidor, son J. Thomas Hopper, Jr and his wife Rhonda of Vidor, daughter Kathy Mattox and her husband Martin of Orlando, FL., brother Ernest Clyde Randell, Jr of Orange, sisters Betty Short. Alice Karr, and Joe Ann Randell all of Nederland, five grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
