Mariah Lee Woods

Mariah Lee Woods, 26, of Westlake, went to rest in Christ on October 19th, 2019. She was born on June 27th, 1993 in Lake Charles, LA. Mariah is survived by her husband, Kevin C. Woods and daughter, Vera Lee Woods. Her parents are Michael & Sherry Cormier Of Ragley, LA & Lorrie Watkins of Gary, IN, as well as Ray and Melinda Baas of Chalmette, LA. She is also survived by her brothers Vincent (Brittany) Cormier of Sulphur, LA and Kyle (Alexis) Cormier of Moss Bluff, LA, stepsister Jolene (Chris) Trout of Mt. Pleasant, PA and CJ (Jen) Stouffer of Acme, PA. Her paternal grandparents are Lee & Sylvia Cormier of Ragley, LA and Rufus & Betty June Davis of Mena, AR. Her maternal grandparents are Sharon & Dennis (preceded in rest) Watkins of Valparaiso, IN. Her paternal great-grandmother is Betty Elliott Deatherage of Westlake, LA. Mariah is also survived by her cherished Uncles, Aunts, Nephews and Cousins, each of whom meant the world to her. Mariah loved God and people. Her life was a reflection of the love of Jesus and a testimony to all who knew her. She was a graduate of SOWELA Technical Community College School of Nursing. Her love encompassed all that she met. A Memorial service will be held at Bellview Baptist Church in Westlake, LA on Saturday, Oct 26th at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to attend and a reception will be held immediately afterwards.
