Maria Revilla Varela

Maria R. Varela, 91 of Rose City died Sunday, May 26th, 2019 at her residence in Beaumont, TX. A native of Monterrey, Mexico, she was a longtime resident of Rose City, before moving to Beaumont just a couple of months ago. Maria was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor and was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and spending time with her family. Her daughters said she was a great cook. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a private service held at a later time. Maria is survived by her daughters Leticia Almonte and her husband David of Buna, TX and Irma Rivera and her husband David of Mauriceville, TX, son Felipe Varela and his wife Yvonne of Silsbee, TX, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
